Cartridges that print as good as new!
Remanufactured toner cartridges save money. These cartridges cost 30% to 50% less on a per page basis, when compared to OEM cartridges.
The Remanufacturing Process
Cartridges undergoing remanufacture are first carefully disassembled, thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Key parts that need to be inspected for wear and defects include the imaging drum, corona wire assembly, primary charge roller, magnetic or developer roller, transfer roller, wiper and doctor blade. Each worn or defective part is replaced, and a fresh charge of system-matched toner is measured into the hopper. Cartridges that make use of a “smart-chip” require a chip replacement as well. The cartridge is properly reassembled, and post-tested in order to ascertain the functioning and print-quality. The “finished” cartridge is then packaged for shipment.
Remanufactured toner cartridges save money. These cartridges cost 30% to 50% less on a per page basis, when compared to OEM cartridges. Most cartridge remanufacturers will accept used cartridges at no cost, or even buy them back or provide a credit, depending on their model, saving you even more money.
97% Recyclable: A typical used toner cartridge weighs about 2 kg and is composed of 40% plastic, 40% metal and smaller percentages of rubber, paper, foam, and toner. The plastic is made of engineering- grade polymers which take at least a thousand years to decompose. However, approximately 97% of these combined components can be recycled and reused. Conserves Resources: Using remanufactured toner cartridges reduces pollution and waste by minimizing the amount of materials, such as plastic, steel, aluminum, and rubber, disposed of in landfills. This also conserves natural resources by eliminating the need for virgin material to make new cartridges. For each kg of new components used in remanufacturing, 5 to 9 kg of virgin material is conserved. Saves Energy: Using remanufactured toner cartridges also saves energy. More than 3 litres of oil is used up in the production of a single new toner cartridge. A used toner cartridge can be remanufactured up to three to four times, depending on its type and condition, potentially saving up to 10 litres of fuel.
